Welcome to Troop 214

Troop 214 meets at Faith United Methodist Church at 909 - 19th Avenue North, Fargo.  Troop 214 has both a Boys Troop and a Girls Troop.

The Scoutmaster for the Boys Troop is Ken Elfstrum at Ken@elfstrum.net or 701.237.4540.

The Scoutmaster for the Girls Troop is Ryan Jonasson at ryan@jonasson.org.

To get a login and password for this website, contact webmaster@t214.com You must be a scout, a parent of a scout or a scout leader in Troop 214.

Thursday, March 30th Meeting:

  • Court of Honor will be held from 7:15 - 8:30 PM.   
  • Advancements and Merit Badges earned since the last Court of Honor in December will be presented.
  • Engraved T214 coins will be presented.
  • All scouts and their parents, friends and family are welcome to attend.

An Eagle Ceremony for Collin Beckman to follow the Court of Honor.

Thanks to everyone who helped with Scouting for Food last week. Due to school not being in session and the bad weather, scouts have the option to attempt participating again by hanging door hangers anytime Monday through Wednesday and picking up food on Saturday.

3/12: Hang Scouting for Food Hangers in your own neighborhood. Hangers can be collected outside the tree hut. This will be done on Sunday due to the forecasted snow on Saturday.

3/6 Troop Meeting: Scouts will be working on the Citizenship in Society Merit Badge, be sure to complete the required work before coming to the meeting.

On March 6th, Troops 214 and 5214 will be holding the Citizenship in Society merit badge.  This is the new Eagle required merit badge.  All Scouts who have not already earned this merit badge are encouraged to attend.  Scouts should be able to earn the merit badge in one session, as long as they meet the requirements.  To earn the merit badge, all Scouts will be required to participate and contribute to the discussion with the counselor.  To help the Scout prepare, they should use the following resources:
